Gwendoline Smith
is a registered Clinical Psychologist, with twenty years of clinical practice.

She is the author of two books, is a columnist and a regular guest on a talkback radio show and is a social commentator for the local media. She was the founder of a multi-million dollar nationwide de-stigmatisation campaign and is passionate about the need to educate sufferers and their families about mental illness, in particular depression.

She believes in de-stigmatisation and the demystification of the illness and it's treatment. Her passion and clear and concise ability to communicate to the layperson comes from her own experience of this debilitating disorder. She considers her personal experience of depression her most profound qualification.
